As broad and structured as Barolo, yet slightly more refined in its tannins and less austere, Barbaresco is the other face of Nebbiolo in the Langhe. After two years of ageing it begins to reveal the seductive combination of power and elegance that defines it. Great in its youth, it improves further with 3–5 years of additional bottle ageing.
